Question about Freezers
Replacing the cold control on my GE chest freezer but can't remember which post is for black and which for red. Facing the front and closest to the side post for the green wire has a C on the gray case under the post. I thought this was the black one. The other post has an L on the case under the post which I thought was for the red wire. Not sure though so before I turn it on, wanted to get a confirmation from someone who would know for sure.

youyr best bet would be to build a frame that the casters are welded to and there are no holes in the outer shell of the freezer. some L shaped angle would work nicely for this application and then there would be plenty of support for when the freezer is loaded up with product. Be sure that teo of the casters are lockable and two in the swivel freely.

Is this just a "Power-on" light to let you know it's plugged in and has power? This is probably just a "neon" (although the actual gas inside is hydrogen for the green color) bulb and sometimes they will do the flickering thing literally forever. In a way it's a good thing as it makes you look at it. If it really concerns you, or if it is actually a warning that something is going wrong (it should say in the manual, you DO have the manual don't you?) have it fixed under the warranty.
