I have a Whirlpool AWT1031Q white refrigerator. The doors and cabinet have all the components to reverse the doors, except the top of the cabinet. There are no holes at all on the side I would like to switch to. Is there a kit for this, or is it possible to drill and tap, or rivet into the top of the cabinet?

Hi Ben22 Sounds like some thing pluging the water line or the water line pinched some where.. if the hole was 1/4 inch you should get enough water with that big of a hole. I would check the water line for a obstruction. Let me know if this helps. Krazytech

there is no reversing the door on the washer. the door on the dryer can be reversed and with the execption of a few of the earlier models no kit is required(even then was just a trim kit). is switching theposition of the 2 appliances an option?? as far as wsher vibrating through house heres a new product receiving great response http://www.keshakeaway.com/servlet/StoreFront

The red button sits on a lever that changes the polarity of the switch output. If this lever feels loose and you can't feel it engaging anything then you need to split the housing and make sure it is seated properly. If it is, and the lever on the switch is moving fine aswell then you should check all the wires coming out of the switch, and if they are all connected properly you will prob need a new switch.
