Question about Dell Inspiron 2200 PC Notebook
I am finding a hard time plugging my IBM T60 to TV, i got this VGA (F) Laptop - RCA (F) TV cable and tried adjusting the settings, still ain't working! Any ideas anyone?
Does the laptop recognize that an external device is plugged in when you connect? you should hear a beep and be given options to adjust video settings. look at your keyboard and look for the picture on one of the keys (either number keys or fkeys) for the display change button. you usually have to hit the fn key and then the corresponding key.
iv had issues with this personally going from video out to svideo to rca video and ended up losing color...adapters are funny things. its possible that the adapter itself either doesnt work at all or just doesnt work with your laptop. wouldnt be the first time.
