Why wont my frigidaire deep freezer model mfu14f3gw5 run at all.

Hello Lee, thanks for your inquiry!
I see that your Frigidaire deep freezer is not running and you would like to know why you are having these issues. It could be a possible miscommunication within your control panel or sealed system. I would recommend performing a reset on your freezer and you can do that by unplugging the power cord for at least ten minutes. If that does not help resolve your issue I would suggest having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and repair. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

Cant find temperature control knob

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that you are looking for the temperature control knob on your Frigidaire freezer, model# FFU2064DW. The temperature control is located inside your freezer on upright models, and on the left outside wall on chest models. The temperature is factory preset to provide satisfactory food storage temperatures. However, the temperature control is adjustable to provide a range of temperatures for your personal satisfaction. Where is the thermostat on my electrolux freezer (E32AF75FPS)?

Hi spazmodius, thank you for your post! This particular model has a thermistor to relay the temperature inside the unit to the Main Control Board. The thermistor is located behind the evaporator panel, to the right of the evaporator. I hope this information helps to some degree. If there is anything else that I can help you with, please feel free to reconnect!

Hello Michael - Sounds like the temperature control was accidently turned OFF. When this occurs the temperature control turns off the compressor, but does not disconnect the power to the light bulb or other electronics. Let's try activating the freezer by pressing the UP arrow until display shows "4" or desired setting. Allow 24 hours for temperature to stabilize. For future reference you can lock the control to keep from accidently changing the temperature setting. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if the unit's status has changed successfully. Thank you.

Where is the temperature control on model lffh2067dw2

Hi - Generally speaking, the temperature control in a Frigidaire upright freezer is located directly behind the temperature control knob. Make sure the unit is turned off completely and the evaporator cover and gasket will need to be unscrewed to get directly to it. Before repairing or replacing any parts of your appliance, might want to consider contacting a professional to move forward accurately due to safety and liability reasons. They also usually warranty their labor just in case something else may turn out be the root cause of your initial problem. I suggest this in the event that if the unit has a limited warranty and if you continue it will cause the warranty to be voided.

I have a Frigidaire model GLFU206FWA upright freezer. The temperature control won't go above 10 degree F. This causes freezer burn on some foods after a period of time. Is there a way to regulate the...

Good day,
Manufacturers of freezers do not give the option of running the machine much above that temperature. Normal operating temperature for a freezer is about -2 to about 8 above F.
Otherwise people could accidentally set the temp too warm and cause a loss of food.
Some appliance parts houses carry universal thermostats that could possibly cover the temperature range your looking for, but 30 degrees is far to warm to preserve frozen food safely.
