If the freezer is on top then empty out the freezer and remove the bottom and back liner of the freezer compartment usually phillips screws. In the back you will see the freezer coils along with a defrost element. Below these two items u will see a drip tray that collects water from the coils on defrost cycle, in the center of the pan will be a drain hole that connects to a hose that leads to a pan under the refrigerator.Normally the water is collected there and evaporated. The hole in the tray in the freezer is clogged. Thaw it and clean it until you can pour water in it and it goes to the pan down below. please rate me

Why is my Samsung two-door fridge freezer leaking water into the bottom of the freezer compartment. What is the solution. I have defrosted it for 24 hours without success.

Hello there
You said you' ve defrosted it for 24 hours, that is good and it is the first step, Now clean out the drain system on the freezer side. The ice melts and become water it should drain out onto the drain pan underneath . But because the drain is plugged and the water can't running down the drain so it running out the drip pan onto the bottom of your freezer compartment. You may need to take out the back pannel on the freezer side to get to the drip pan below the freezing coil.

Hope this can help you to solve the problem.

On defrost water collects on bottom of freezer section & drips out of door

You will have to remove the back panel in your freezer and you will probably find something clogging the hole in your drain pan.

IWater does not dispense.

Good day,
The hum is normal. That's the water valve in the rear of the machine being activated.
Lots of plumbing to be checked.
Water line starts at the dispensing outlet in the door, and runs thru the door to the bottom of the hinged side.
From there it goes to the filter,
'From there it travels under the machine into the cooling reservoir mounted back of the fresh food section behind the crispers.
From there it travels back out and runs to the water solenoid mounted on the back rear of the machine.
One of these lines or their fittings has failed.
It's a look-see repair.

Also, there is a remote chance the water line running inside the freezer door froze, causing this problem, and would require the machine be shut down (unplugged) and the door be allowed to defrost completely.

Ice forming bottom of freezer leaking out the door

It is acutually a collector pan for the drain hose. When the refrigerator runs a defrost cycle (about every couple days), that pan collects the water from the ice that is melted and drains it through a hose inside the unit, to a pan under the unit. You will have to pull the back panel off the back of the freezer and melt it with either hot water or a hot blowdryer. Do it until you see the water draining freely into the bottom pan.

Check and make sure you defrost drain in the freezer isn't frozen. The water may be coming from the bottom of the freezer inside. When the heater comes on to defrost the evaporator, the water drips in to a small hole in the back bottom of the freezer inside. If the drain freezes, the water runs out into the freezer on the bottom and eventually onto the floor in front of the freezer door. It will eventually create a gap and let moisture into the freezer and may show up in the refrigerator section as condensation. Remove the ice build up including the alluminum drain pan area where the drain is located. Pour hot water into the drain to defrost it. You may have to remove the back of the freezer wall on the bottom to get better access. If the water goes down the drain, its clear. If you need a part for your refrigerator, please email me on ebay under user name themackshack. Good luck! , Mack
