Only some third party vendors provide some good conversion applications but Microsoft never support using any these third party tools.

Try:- NSF to PST Converter

SOURCE: Lotus Notes 8:How do I turn off ?Send Immediately When Connected?

There is not a perfect mirror of that function in Notes, but you do have options.

The first one is the "Recall" option:
==========Extracted directly from Lotus Notes Help================
You can retract a message that you have already sent and saved in the Sent view. This is useful if you sent a message in error, or if you want to edit the content of a sent message and resend it.

  1. In your mail, open the Sent view.
  2. Select the message.
  3. Above the message list, click Recall Message. If this button does not display, your Domino™ administrator has disabled this feature.
  4. If the message was sent to more than one recipient, select the recipients to recall the message from.
  5. (Optional) To recall the message from a recipient even if the recipient has already opened or previewed it, select Recall the message even if it has been read.
  6. (Optional) To suppress recall status reports, clear Send me a recall status report for each recipient. Recall status reports confirm whether a message is recalled successfully or not.
  7. Click OK.
Note For a message recall to work, both you and the message recipient must be using the Release 8 mail application template (Mail8.ntf) on a Release 8 Domino server, and the message recipient must have the basic mail preference Allow others to recall mail sent to me selected.
===============================================================
Of course this assumes you catch it before they read it.

No other option works on an individual message, but treats all messages with the same 'solution'.

One of those solutions is the somewhat obvious [Save as Draft]. Of course then the onus is on you to follow up and actually send them. I've trained myself to use this option if I'm a bit hot under the collar.
You could assist that process by creating an agent that would flag you with a reminder when messages are held in the draft folder. To do that you will need to know a little bit about agents and scripting. It's not as scary as it sounds - the interface for creating agents helps guide you a bit. And don't get this confused with Rules. Though there are similarities Agents is a more robust scripting environment.

A bit more sophisticated method:
  1. The first step is to set up for local Replication, where your Inbox is mirrored on your local hard drive. This should be done anyway because it allows you to read messages offline and it reduces overall network traffic.
  2. This is similar to how Outlook would store your messages in the local .pst files. Your Notes admins may already have you set up this way. If not, inquire about it - all mobile users will depend upon this, and office users can benefit as well.
  3. The other benefit is that when you click 'Send' it's que'd up to be sent the next time it's scheduled to replicate.
  4. Once you have replication set up and you have defined your replication schedule you will have xx minutes between replications to change your mind. Again, not perfect, but bearable.
A companion to that solution is the use of Location Profiles.
  1. If you look to the bottom right corner of your Notes screen you will probably see the work "Office", or "Network". If you click there you will see your available default location profiles.
  2. Each location profile is set up to a specific enironment. In my office we have "Island (Disconnected)", "Office (Network)", and others - each one set up to assume a certain type of connection to the network.
  3. If I select 'Island" it won't attempt to contact the server, thus convincing Notes I am disconnected from the network and ques all 'Sent' messages to be delivered. Once again the onus is on you to 'connect' by selecting the "Office (Network)" profile in order begin the push/pull of your messages.
For more information look into the Help system for Replication, Location Profiles, and Agents.

A less frequently used option is to use the 'Transfer outgoing mail if: xx messages pending. In this instance you would set the number to a high threshold, say 50. But, again, you would be responsible for forcing the transmission by manually initiating replication.

Unfortunately, none of these is a perfect substitute for the Outlook option you depend on. I hope this helps.

Good Luck!

Lotus Notes crashes when sending an attachment

Is this with any size attachment. Try a really small one, just a blank notepad text file or something. Also try and save the message as a draft before sending it. I've found saving it as a draft and then using something else (Notes Traveller or Web Client) to send it has worked for me in the past. Expect this is a slow connection issue.
