Question about Computers & Internet

MacBook casing I have a MacBook about 6 years old and recently the casing around the screen is coming apart. I can no longer close the laptop since all the interior will come out causing it to close unevenly. I can only push hard with two fingers at the same time to reduce this while adjusting the screen. Is there any industrial glue that could help?

Gorilla Glue or check the screws are not missing that holds it all together.. They could also just be really really loose..

Apparently I somehow mis-represented my case. My problem is with my "Macbook" laptop and not with a phone.

Try running the free optimizer Onyx http://www.titanium.free.fr/
Uninstall any applications you no longer use with the free AppCleaner http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/
And open "Console" (Applications/Utilities/Console) to see if there are any errors in there that might be bogging down the system.
Lastly, you may have a hard drive that's dying. If your system is 5 years old or older you should plan to replace the drive soon.

Laptop sometimes switches off when moved.

Sounds like a loose connection where the laptop opens and closes hinge there are wires that run from the main screen to the main board. If you know how to take the unit apart it maybe a cheap fix if not then a new laptop maybe the way to go the prices have really dropped from 4 years ago

Macbook battery not charging

If it is under a year old, then you may have a case for a free replacement by Apple. If it is older, then you'll have to buy a new battery and recycle the old one. All laptop batteries have a maximum lifespan and will have to be replaced at some point in the future.

I have an Electrolux Aqualux EW1200 i washing machine which is around 6 years old. The problem is that the drum no longer turns during the wash cycle. Instead it makes a slight grinding and banging...

6 years old - probably the wash tub bearings gone. Does the wash tub lift up and down from the front? sure sign bearings have gone. Would you drive a car at 70mph if the wheels were loose and floppy?
Not really a viable repair due to cost, and throwing good money after bad sort of situation, especially if your machine has a sealed wash tub which doesn't come apart.(welded Tub).
Cost of parts in this case would equal cost of new machine. Also, suspension, motor and heater will all be worn too. That's about the life span of machines these days I'm afraid!

My MacBook Pro goes to the grey screen with the

Most likely, you are looking at a corrupt installation of the OS, or a failing hard drive... most likely the latter, unfortunately. Laptop hard drives only seem to last a couple years now, 3-4 if you're really lucky. I would suggest popping in the System Restore Disc (that came with the computer originally) or the OS install disc (in case it has a new version installed than it came with originally) and go to Tools->Disk Utility, and tell it to "repair permissions" and "repair disk", and see if that resolves it. If it happens to, I suggest backing up your data ASAP just in case. More info can be found here on using Disk Utility.

I've seen several like that and found the wire connections corroded off. Easy to fix if that's the case. Make sure the unit is UNplugged before taking it apart.

Faint white spots on macbook pro lcd screen

If the spots remain in the same place I'm sorry to say no. Be careful what you clean the screen with. I'm a fan of a warm wet damp only rag. Using alcohol or other cleaners may damage the surface. There are also cleaners available at local stores. You don't need anti-static on an LCD display. The spots can be from pressure on the display applied at some point even if that pressure happens when closing or transpoting your laptop. There is no way to fix it.

Cracked keyboard

Are you sure it's a macbook and not an ibook? The macbook has an embedded kebboard. It's ribbon cable and connectors are inside of the laptop as opposed to the ibook, which is installed on the top case. The Ibook did have issues with the clear or green ribbon cable squeezing up from under the right side.
