New 5 hp LEHR propane outboard motor requires 4 pulls to start. Not reliable at low revs, misses and stalls.

You need to adjust the needle valve that controls the propane into the carb, Lehr website has videos about this, its real simple, you need to add more fuel than reset your idle speed, mine needed the same thing, these motors need adjustment at time of sale and many places do not do it.

I bought a 5 HP gamefisher outboard motor. It 's been use once and then it sit for years outside. I change the spark plug, clean the carburator, fuel filter looks good.good compression. gas go all a way to...

If spark plug is dry, fuel is not getting to the cylinders. Next thing to check would be the fuel pump... Gas may be getting to carb, but the pump needs to push it into the cylinders too.

Outboard motor won't run under load

I have 1969 5hp Johnson. Starts and runs good, but will only push a 14ft row boat slow at low to medium rpm. When at higher rpm the the motor just revs up and the boat slows down to almost nothing just like it has seaweed around prop.Any help would be great.
