I notice you have several different AdBlock extensions. You might need to fine-tune some of their settings.
First though, when you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove your facebook.com cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:

  • right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page and logging back into Facebook. Any improvement?
If none of that helps, could you post a screen shot showing which icons are missing, or describe them in more detail?

How do I find my ID on Facebook?

Hi, do you really mean your ID (wich is a sequence of 15 digits), or
your user name (which looks like "firstname.lastname.oneDigit"?

To find your FaceBook ID, you first need to know your user name which
looks like "firstname.lastname.digit". Just in case, your user name is
the part of your FaceBook email on the left of the @
sign. If you don\'t know it, it can be found on your profile page
(click on your profile picture to access your profile page). From your
profile page, click on the "About" tab and look on the
right for your FaceBook email.

Now, to get your ID, open a new browser window and type this in the
adress bar : http://graph.facebook.com/FaceBookUserName
and hit Enter. A text file will display in the browser window where
you will see your ID on the first
line.

Good luck !

I have 2 separate businesses pages and cannot find a way to switch between which one I'm posting as on someone else's facebook page. The buttons and bars Facebook says to use in their help section aren't...

At the top right of Facebook, no matter what page you're on, you should see a cogwheel / circle looking emblem. Click on that, and you'll get a drop down menu with all of your pages connected to your Facebook account. Click on whichever one you want to use to comment, and you'll automatically start commenting as that page. To switch back, click the same circle and click on your actual profile. I hope this answered your question!

Mymy search bar has disappeared how do I get it back?

sometimes in an internet browser you just need to press f11 to get your toolbar back. If this doesn't work and it is just a search bar not the whole toolbar missing,
Internet explorer - right mouse click where it should be and tick which on you are missing.
Chrome - on the right hand side of toolbar there are three horizontal lines, click on there and choose bookmarks and then click "show bookmark bar"
hope that helps.

My facebook page is blank on Safari web browser

Hello,

Try opening facebook in a different browser (eg. Internet Explorer or Chrome).

or do this one:

Delete the cookies by going to Safari > Preferences > Privacy Tab > Details

In the search field in the top right corner of that window, type in facebook. Click REMOVE ALL > Done

Now, go to the safari menu bar. Click safari > empty cache

Go back to the menu bar again. Click safari > Reset Safari. Select the top 5 boxes. Click Reset.

Restart your MAC and check when on.

Let me know if it works or not. If you need more help, please let me know.

You know how usually on microsoft word down the bottom you would see like one word or two word written so you can see how much word you have written so for i am wondering how to get it back down the bottom...

You want to enable the Status menu. I don't know where it is either as I thing Microsoft Office is way over priced, but I digress. Just find where you enable and disable menu bars and enable the status bar.
