Computer does not see device

I have the "Missil digital mp3 player PMP-8308" from XS Cargo. The device connects to the USB port and charges fine. It also turns on and operates fine. However, in order to add media files i need to access the device from My Computer. The computer doesn't see the device at all. It sees all of my other flash storage and media players. Please help.

When the song is playing, hit the menu button. That should bring up the 'repeat' menu, and you can pick random from in there.

Cant get the stupid thing to be redognised by vista usb drivers for the mp3 not installed or regnoised

Hi There,               Vista should reconize  it as a usb divice and look into the storage space. Just try to use vista in the control panel and goto add new hardware if ask for driver just but in the software mini cd it came with. I have no problem with mine. If it does not work then you might have a faulty product or you should ask a vista tech how to identify a a usb divice mp4 player to windows. I know the pmp 8308 Missil is compatible with Microsoft Window Vista. It should just be plug and play and identify as a usb device so you can drag and load your videos or mp3s or pictures or even text into your ebook on the device. I hope I helped a bit. Good Luck

My headphones wont work everthing else is fine

Hi There,                The input for the head phone is a 32 ohm input. You need to get the proper 32ohm headphone for it. It seems that you tryed others but there are 16 ohms and 32ohms headphones. But if they do not work then it is your input connection or the device if your headphones work on other devices. You should bring the product back as a faulty device to the store and exchange it with your reciept then.  For the headphone that works on one side it can be the headphone jack that does not fit properly into the hole input (female jack). The one side does not touch or connect for it to work. It happens to cheap headphones and some good ones too. The male jacks on the headphones are slightly off it specification size by a small amount that it is not noticed by the naked eye, so it does not get a good connection.Try another head phone if you haven't tryed that

Uploading songs onto the Missil flashMP3 player

Hi There,                First you have to charge it up fully by plugging it into the computer with the usb cable it came with. if yo have windows 2000 or higher you don't need to install the software it came with. It takes 4 hours to fully charge. Shut your MP3 missil player off and the plug it back into the computer with the cable it came with. Microsoft window plug and play should automatically indentify the devive as a storage device. All you do from there is drop and drag your mp3 songs iinto the storage folder in your device. Enjoy your new device
