I just bought a Kenmore Water Dispenser (Model #75241) from a huge yard sale. The owner told me that I need to buy some type of component so that the water won't leak when going inside the dispenser or something and he showed me the top of the machine. What exactly am I missing? Here are the pictures. http://db.tt/djKTgazU http://db.tt/o72P3aHL http://db.tt/ZFFRrTxz http://db.tt/Bbj7ykBC http://db.tt/gp9B0fLW http://db.tt/zwJYbAVA

The fill valve that supplies the water may not be shutting off completely. Also check to see that the lever is closing completely.
SOURCE: Something leaking from dispenser frame
You can remove the frame around the dispenser by pulling it gently and then you access to the screws that hold the dispenser in place. Could be a spillage behind the frame. Good Luck.
SOURCE: Frigidaire Water Leak
We had the same problem with water spontaneously pouring out from behind the ice maker dispenser like Niagra falls. Turns out that the water inlet valve was stuck in the open position. This must be a fairly common problem with this model because it took almost two weeks to get the part since it was sold out.
(Part # 241734301)
We were concerned about this happening again, but it appears Frigidaire has upgraded the part (it is not exactly the same as the old one), but you may want to consider getting a "flood safe" water line from Home Depot just to be sure. We were lucky that we were home when the water started gushing. Otherwise, it would have flooded the whole house.
SOURCE: Top Load Kenmore Elite Bleach Dispenser Leaking
I have this same problem today and did not need to take off the top panel or remove the front panel/housing. The bleach and frabric softener dispenser snaps right out and you can check the tubing and clamp from there. You will need to remove the top panel if you need to replace the tubing. In my case, there is a crack in the dispenser itself which has ruined several loads of laundry over the past year...now I realize it wasn't the clamp and hose, but the dispenser itself. Check them all while you are at it.
You could have a clog in the housing underneath the dispenser where the water flows through a hose into the tub. Pull the dispenser drawer completely out. There is a tab that needs to be depressed to release the drawer and remove it. Check the opening at the bottom of the housing just inside the dispenser housing opening to see if a small sock or garment is clogging this opening. Reach down into this opening to see if an item is inside the hose. This is the normal issue that will cause water to leak out of the dispenser housing.
Wash the dispenser drawer thoroughly with warm water. Make sure that you pull off the siphon covers and wash all siphon holes. This process is described in your owner's manual. Replace the dispenser drawer and try the washer again. If the dispenser still leaks, then I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and fix this problem.
