Check status monitor see if cartridges are low or nearly empty , if new or full take out all cartridges and soak nozzles upright in cleaning solution overnight , or
untill ink starts to bleed out:
Dab dry and re - fit , make up a A4 paper page with 6
colour bands about 1" high x 8" wide and print about 4 to 6 pages ,
check which
colours are poor , if improvement is observed run
again a few times:
If one
colour is poor take out that cartridge and soak again for a few hours , try again:
If no improvement replace with new cartridge or use a cleaning cartridge ( available
on-line ) :
Using the head-cleaning utility shortens the life of the printer as the printer is set to lock-out after a
pre-set use of the cleaning facility: and will have to be re-set instore:

My printer is not printing color copies proprerly. Everthing is green and yellow, it;s like it;s not mixing the proper colors. The black ink is skipping and is printing very light. I just put brand new ink in the printer
my printer is also not printing after I changed the cartridges. The paper feeds through and it sounds like it's working but the paper comes out empty. I've tried to clean the head, nozzles check etc. I even tried to make a b&w copy nothing. It had been working prior.
Hi. My printer seems to have the same problem. I changed the cartridges and ever since it doesn't print black ink but it prints color although a bit off like the colours aren't mixed properly. The paper feeds fine, the printer goes though the motion but word documents come out blank unless I change the colour to blue, for example. I did all the nozzle checks and head cleaning but only the first two bars (blue and yellow) are printed - the test page prints the windows logo only and that now too with some lines through it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
My printer has the same problem: only color copying is available but not about B&W while the color copy seems like lack of black color. But the control pannel shows 30% of B&W. Why?
