Question about Emerson MS9700 CD Shelf System
There is no "small hole" to manual eject - anyone have experience with this unit? My daughter has 6 CDs stuck and I have $150 in the trash if we can't get it working.
You have to unscrew the whole thing and take the whole metal covering off and then the inner tray will be displayed and then you can just take the CDs out and then screw the cover back on. Happened to me, and that worked :]

I had the same exact problem. When I opened it up, I found that a small rubber-band in the tray opening mechanism has slipped off. While it was a simple problem, I caused more trouble by breaking a small switch while I was opening it, so be careful if you do decide to open it up.
