Look for windows recovery CD for AcerAspire 5610

It is good when you can start Safe mode it can help.

What realy happen when you start in 'Normal' mode ?

Do the following:

Start the computer in Safe mode.

Open My computer, than Right-click on Disk C and click on properties.

Click on Tools Tab and then click on 'Check Now', and then Start (leave two options above unchecked)

When it finishes, it should show that Disc check is complete, close it.

Right-click on My Computer, click on properties, and then Advanced Tab.
Click Settings in Startap and Recovery field.
Uncheck Automatically restart and then OK.

Now restart and see if it will bring Windows in 'Normal' mode.

Are there Errors, Blue Screen . . . . ?
If so, try one more thing.

Go to Windows start options (the one you go to select Safe mode) and go to

Last good known configuration
and pres Enter and once again, Enter.

Did you get to 'Normal' Windows ?
