All of a sudden my coffee maker won't turn on. No warnings, just all of a sudden. I've checked all the obvious things (ie is it plugged in.)
Hello evc622,
This is a really common problem with the cuisinarts. I am most familiar
with the DCC-1200, but you may be able to solve the problem. The may be an indication that something is plugged up. Open the top of
the unit and in one of the corners you should find a filter stick or
column that is removable. Pull it out and open it up to clean out the
clogged up carbon filter in there. (You can later buy a new filter on
Amazon.) Clean out the debris from the bottom of the cavity. Replace
the stick into the cavity once cleaned. Now it's time to run through a
solution of 2 parts water and 1 part vinegar. Do this once or twice
with fresh solutions, then with a pot of fresh water. When the filter
stick is plugged up the sensor says its time to clean it or shuts the unit down, but most
people don't know about this fix. I hope this is helpful to you, evc. Positive feedback is appreciated. Good luck. NormanZ
Hi,
Here is a tip that I wrote that will give you some things to try that will help you get your Keurig coffee brewer working again.

Same with mine. If I flip the switch several times, it will eventually come on. Other times, it begins brewing and midway stops as if I had turned the machine off. I turn it back on and it will continue to brew the remaining cups. I love this pot and would like to fix it. Any suggestions would be great.
The same thing has happened to mine two times now. The first time I called Cuisinart and they told me to unplug it for an hour and then plug it back in. It worked. It continured to work for a week as normal then it happened again. When I called again they offered to replace the maker but I would have to pay to ship it back AND send them a check for $10 for shipping the new one. Not sure I am so happy with this as this maker is only 2 yr old and it is sposed to have a 3 yr warranty.
Don't know why it loses its little mind every now and then...
