- I have a portable Funai TV..same thing. There are no jacks in the back, only in the front. No reception. I tried it on the cable box, on the vcr that is connected to everything, no dice. I haven't tried it on the computer..but I bought it so that I could listen to MY tv over my roommates! Arrgh!- Guest

It is probable that you are plugging the headphones into INPUT jacks on the TV or VCR. You need to plug them into OUTPUT jacks. Your TV or VCR might not have these.
