click start control panel administration tools computer management disk management right click on your 4gb memory card select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in one box then select check now start or you might tick one box then return after its finished the first then return and tick the second box you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage this drive click start click on computer then right click on your 4gb memory card select format hope this helps you
The canon PowerShot SX210 IS only supports memory cards up to 4GB in size. Larger ones will work, but because of the format type the camera uses, it won't be able to read correctly past 4 GB.
It is very possible that the card is bad. The phone is rated for a 4 gb card. You might want to try a Sandisk microsd instead. If it still doesn't work it may actually be the phone. Sorry I wasn't much help..:-(
Here's what you do; go back to the store, smack the clerk upside the head for giving you bad advice, and trade the 4gb for a 2gb.. (or the razr for another phone). The V3m doesn't support SDHC cards; only SD ones. SD are 2gb and below, while the HC (high capacity) are 4gb and up. Sucks, doesn't it..
