Re: digital camera

The Kodak program seems to have many problems like this. Uninstall Easy share, and get Picasa: This photo organizer will find all your images and has some good editing functions. It will import from most cameras, is easy to use and free.

Hi, I have a new Toshiba Satelite L500 laptop. From the moment I started to work with it, following message began to appear: Warning: A problem with the cooling system has been detected. Please turn off...

first you should install an independent system temperature monitor like speed fan and check if your computer temperature is ok .If the temp is ok then it is not as much of a worry but more of an annoyance if it shows the computer is hot take it back to service immediately either way they should fix the problem under warranty.
I hope this helps Andrew A

My pilot light is lit but the gas fireplace won't light...

Make sure the valve is in the ON position, if so and the burner still will not lit, then you'll need to get the thermopile replaced.

I've had a bad dust problem and my cpu fan began making a loud whirring noise and finally the computer shut down altogether. Took the cover off totally cleaned out the dust and turned the power back on....

If the computer detects overheating or fan failure it will shut down automatically. If you replace the fan you should be fine. Remove your old fan and try to get one that connects the same way, some of them connect directly to the heat sink, others to the motherboard.

Computer part

that looks like a heatsink for your processor.. Did you upgrade the pc at all (hardware wise).. If you look in your computer, on the motherboard, does the CPU(processor) have anything on it?

Also, what is the model # of your motherboard (if you do not know, or can't find it, what is the make/model number of your pc)

Compaq presario 2100 fan does not work...

Ok, first off i have a feeling that reinstalling xp had nothing to do with your fan. Locate the fan vents on the side or back of your notebook. Buy a can of compressed air and spray out the vents. My guess is you have plenty of dust. After that boot the computer and enter the bios menu. Look for where it displays your temperature. Leave it running like this overnight. If its still on, check the temperature. If its above 70 C you have a bad fan, the same holds true if it doesn't last the night.
