TV Won't Turn On - Timer light flashing continuously

Had to move the TV due to room being painted and now it won't turn on. I replaced the lamp recently and checked to see if the new one is OK; seems to be. Any thoughts? Many thanks.

Thanks. I tried that - no change, unfortunately. The TV is less than 3 years old, so it would be tough if your comment about "needing a new television" is accurate.

Try and unplug it from the wall. This should restart the computer. If that doesn't work, you should probably look at buying a new television set.

TV Won't Turn On - Timer light flashing continuously

Well for the first guy, it would seem something came loose while moving it. Trace your power circuit to find the ecaxt problem, as well as inspect your fuse.. I'm sure its something simple and since it wont come on it has to be that it aint getting power..

For the second guy,, the reson why he baked off and said call the manufacture is caue you proberally need a MAIN BOARD... I would suggest you take it to a secon technician first and herr what he has to say before calling the company for they to tell you,,... you have to buy a mainboard and it will cost you some money ...

Our tv won't turn on light blinks a couple minuate and then turns read again and lamp light flashes red

A possible bad lamp if not replaced recently or removed and at least examined. What is model number and what have you tried so far?

Samsung HL-T6756 DLP TV Standby/temp light flashing and tv won't come on. I have replaced the lamp and the fan is working. Any suggestions?

Remove lamp and inspect the color wheel to see if missing pieces or shattered---it will also just before failing give a high pitched or fan like sound and if running too slow or not at all instant shutdown happens.

Its also possible if you bought a GENERIC bulb--and used original cartridge the new lamp is bad.

I recently replaced the TY-LA1000 lamp but I'm getting a yellow flashing light that goes on every 5 secs.I made sure that it was installed correctly and tried resetting the timer by pressing + and - o

Yellow flashing light? Did you get any picture? Bet, not!
It means: your lamp door interlock is not engaged: did you forget to turn the locking knob? Did you install lamp compartment door? That might be the only issue. Lamp timer blinks 'red", while TV works normally. Reset the timer, it's gone, along with annoying message. Yellow means: interlock or thermal protection is off. Try to repeat lamp installation procedure. then, you'll find out your mistake. don't need to remove the lamp. It would be "red", if lamp won't fire up.
good luck,
Alex.

WD-65734 Mitsubishi TV won't turn on. System reset

Are there any lights lit on the front of the TV? Have you checked for a bad lamp? When you reset the TV the timer/power light should flash on and off rapidly for 60-70 sseconds. Does that happen?

I unpluged the TV, move it to another room. Now, the green timing light continues to flash and TV will not turn on. I tried the reset, but it didn't work. Any quick fix?

first question. do you see the lamp from the back lighting or trying to light. check the lamp door. make sure the lamp is not blown. generally if something goes out when moved it indication something got lose or broken.

Timer light did not stop flash

Lamp is not the issue. It most likely is a your DM card. You most likely have some capacitors that need to be replaced. This is a terrible issue with this unit. Do a google search for "DM" and the model number and you should see hundreds of posts.
