Sub-Zero 695s. The rubber and plastic lining inside the fridge door is warm to the touch. This has only started happening recently, but it doesn’t happen all the time. Otherwise, operationally, the fridge and freezer both appear to be working fine. A previous response said that I need to clean the condenser or that the condenser fan has broken. The documentation supplied with the product gives no help on cleaning/accessing the condenser.I’m familiar with this procedure on more “normal” fridges, but can anybody guide me on this Sub-Zero model, which, of course, has the “guts” on the top, versus below. How do I get in there? Do I need to pull the fridge out from its enclosure or can I get full access from the front?
I had the same problem with the inside lining getting hot (over 100 F) and the service light came on. The heat cracked parts of the inside lining which can not be replaced. Was under warranty and the condensor fan was replaced which was cause for over heating. The only solution for the cracked inside lining was to fill with silicone or a new unit. Since the 695 is discontinued, sub zero offered a new unit at a prorated price. That will cost me about $2700 for a new unit, install and overlay doors. I told Subzero that still sucks because I paid $8000 4 years ago and now I must pay another $2700. Not a very good value considering it's a top of the line unit. I think subzero should have replaced for free considering the problem was under warranty. I may contact lawyer to press the issue.

Sub Zero 695 Replugged in after moving and lights came on for an instant with a popping electrical sound. It's dead electrically. The circuit did not trip when this happened. What should I check in the unit? Thank you so much,
