Problem for Agfa DuoScan T1200 Flatbed Scanner

I can not use my scanner it is not detected by my PC

Thank you for youy time, my problem is that can not to us my scanner douscan t1200 agfa, recently i change my windows whish is an xp, in past i also had same version of windows i the sacnner worked fine.

- No i have not, the only cd rom i have is a softwere, as far as i remember in the past, i did not need a driver for the hardware, in addition my pc never say "there is a new software found"

I already did it but it does't work yet, I also reviewed the driver port in the "Sistem" "control panel", it saysit is right, do you think the probles is attributable to the xp version? in this case is there any alternativ.

have you reinstalled the driver from the cd-rom?

You do have to reinstall the driver. Find it on this page: http://static.agfa.com/digicam_scanner_drivers/scanner/duoscan/index.html
Click other languages reguarded to your model.

- you must restart the computer. and if it keep saying "there's new hardware found", in the add new hardware wizard, check the choice to search online for the driver. you can also fine the Add new hardware wizard - with more options - in control panel - switch to classic view if needed.

- PS: Other cable than USB may cause problem with the device to be recognize on win xp.
