Question about Candy ICW101TR Front Load All-in-One Washer / Dryer
My machine will fill with water but will not spin. Even If I empty the water on the dryer programme and try to dry, it won't spin. The belt appears to be ok and the pump appears to be working fine. Any suggestions?
The cold water feeds for condenser cooling and for wash cycle drum fill are controlled by separate solenoid valves (manifolded together at the cold water inlet hose union). When the solenoid on my condenser coolant valve failed a couple of years back, I got symptoms like yours. A new pair of valves isn't expensive to buy and is a trivial job to fit. If this is what has been happening, suggest you also inspect the insides of your dryer fan and of the pump - neither of mine took really kindly to having been cooked for hours on end. Alastair.

Well if you see the drum move in the wash cycle than the belt is still attached.Your door latch is the first thing to check. And the control board is the next and most likely problem.

SOURCE: Candy Model CE10 won't spin
It sound like the carbon brushes in the motor may need changing. It sohuld still be okay to get repaired, as most machines have generic brushes for all of thier models. It's worth calling an engineer and suggesting that the brushes have gone in the motor to get a quote on the repair job. Some engineers will come out and give you a free quote anyway.

If the belt and the motor are OK, then tell your friend to check the motor coupler, the MCU (motor control unit).

first of all its the problem of control board as the circuit is short so some programms are supportive and some are not.but as it does not spins this also has to be checked
If your washer won't spin, check these:
It doesn't pump or spin
It pumps, but doesn't spin
It spins only with the lid closed
It doesn't pump or spin If it doesn't pump water out or spin, check to see if the motor is running, then proceed as follows:
