Go to any Alpine dealer and they will have little keys which will pull it out in a matter of seconds. They should do it for free, as I know my shop does.

I am confused with your question. All JVC radios have extraction keys given to remove if you are trying to uninstall.

Car radio says "PROTECT" and I tried every button but it doesn't seem to work.

If it's already been installed and you don't know how to uninstall it all you can hope for is resetting it will work the reset button is very small and usually somewhere on the front if you do know how to uninstall it the do that and make sure there's no bare metal touching wires or anything And also make sure it is level

Make sure you hooked up power ground and accessory. If you are connecting it just to make that it powers up, ut the yellow and red together and connect them to power at the battery. Connect the black to ground. Make sure the battery has power as well.

When I plug in seagate free agent I get error code 23 what does this mean?

Code 23 is a Windows code for corrupt file. Uninstall the drivers restart the computer and reinstall the drivers and reboot again before you plug in the drive. Here is a manual.

How do install a 1998 toyota camry radio into a 1990 car?

Just use the install guide with the property plug connections:
- Uninstall Toyota Camry 1999-2000
- Install Toyota Camry 1987-1991

For reference to Toyota radio wire harnesses, review this wiring diagram for 1987 and Newer

I don't have the manual to show how to uninstall the unit

Here's a link to the manual, but there's nothing in it about the installation process. It's a standard DIN sleeve mounting though, so any car parts store can sell you an inexpensive install/deinstall kit.

Once you remove the face place and the bezel around the faceplate, you insert the long narrow keys from the kit on each side to release the unit from it's sleeve. When they're in place, the unit will slide forward and right out.

It is the AI net plug on the back of the radio, radio must be uninstalled. Just mathch up and go!

remove the frame around it, find something thin and flat enough to fit the slots thar located arounf the inside of the face this will releae the entire unit from the sleve
