I have a Syncmaster 941bw LCD monitor, ans it was working just fine. I went to get some food, and came back and the monitor was blank and the power switch was blinking green. I tried restarting my system, and nothing came up on screen, but i could hear Windows come up. I tried running a test on th monitor for the didgital signal, and it passes, but then the light goes to blinking green again

- I just bought a new video card about a week ago, and everything was working fine. I have found that the monitor will work in analog mode. but if I switch it to digital mode, it goes back to the blinking green light.
Check the video card. It sounds as if your video card failed. Sorry.

-   I have the monitor plugged in using DVI. I have tried both DVI ports on the video card, and the one for onboard, they all have the same results. I have reseated the video card several times, and still get no video. I have made sure that the video cable was securly plugged in, in both the monitor and the video card. I can here my system post, and then I can hear Windows startup, but there is no video, and the monitor is blinking green. If I set the monitor to analog mode, it gets video, but the screen just says check VGA cable. When I switch it back to Digital mode, the screen goes blank, and the monitor light blinks green.-   scott_dansie

When I turn my system on I can heae it post, and then I can Windows start up, but I do not see any video, and the light continues to blink green. -   Guest
Hummm. Try to unplug everything, reconnect, than restart. If not working, try to plug your monitor on a different computer to diagnose what is wrong, the computer or monitor. It could also be your graphic adapter, verify that it is firmly attached to the motherboard.
Lastly, replace the defective part.

My 568 monitor keeps popping up a message box displaying resolution and sound volume. Seems to come and go as it feels! Manipulating buttons on the side of the monitor has sporadic effect. Faulty contacts somewhere? How can I get rid of it?!

I inherited this nice monitor but it will not power up! I am sure it has the correct power going in but get no lights or sounds at all. Can use the same power cord to a diiferent monitor and it comes right up, so the power in is ok. I am using the RGB connector but it doesn't even get power to the unit at all it seems. Is there a fuse or capacitor that might need replacing? Does anyone have a similar problem? This monitor was sitting for a few months but was supposedly working ok before it was stored.

I just noticed today that there are faded dark patches after all the text and images on my screen. Is my monitor just bad or is there a setting to fix this?
