Question about Westinghouse LTV-32w4 32.02 in. LCD HDTV
When I use the coax interface from the cable company. I try to auto scan the channels. It gets to about 84% and stops, every time. Any ideas?
I have experienced exactly the same issue on two Westinghouse sets. Try turning the set off when it reaches 83%. When I turn mine off and back on, it has saved the channels -- at least the ones it had found before it got hung up.

I was in another area and when I eventually tried to use the 'auto-scan' feature it found all the digital channels. I figured it was probably the transition to digital. So it picked up local HD channels and about 50 something music channels, etc. Now I'm in a new location and the same exact problem is happening. The only way I can watch cable after the auto-scan is to abort the auto-scan before it trys to find the digital channels. If I let it try to find the digital channels it pauses and freezes at 85%. However, I want all the digital channels I can get and I want local HD channels. FYI, I have basic cable (channels 2 - 74 with Charter). Thanks.
