Question about Intel D845GVSR Motherboard
When i start my system, the RED light of HDD glows conitnously. It doesnot blink. But system does not start. Even the monitor doesnot starts. I checked my HDD with other system. It is working. Even monitor is working with Other system. And RAM is also working. Please sort out my problem.
This problem could be caused by the processor not starting or any other hardware problem but since u said that they all work on other systems then i think its a processor or fan or even a bios broblem "but i'd rule out the bios problem because with most bios problems the monitor still starts to tell you that you have a bios problem, just to be sure u'll find a small battery plugged in a socet in your motherboard, just unplugit, clean it and return it", if the computer still doesn't restart then its most probably a processor problem.

Hi, have you checked inside your computer with the power on? The problem may be as simple as the cooling fan on your heatsink not working. also check if you have a case fan and see if that is working. If these are running, then check that ALL POWER CABLES TO THE MOTHERBOARD are plugged in tight. If all this fails you will need to test your power pack. If you have a multimeter test that the power cables to the board have power, Grey is neutral, black negative and the rest are either 5v, 6v, or 12v. If you can not do this test then swap the power pack from your other computer and see how this works, let us know if this fails Regards mistyman
