You need to update the driver of your printer. First, try to reinstall everything like the software and driver that came with your device. If that doesn't work, updating the driver will fix your problem.
There are apparently incompatibilities between some Xerox drivers and the security-improved Snow Leopard. It seems that many pieces of software (and drivers) relied on not-so-clean techniques to cut corners while operating. These techniques are no longer allowed by Snow Leopard (the same problem afflicts XP SP3, Vista and Seven).

If ink is ok , then you may need to reinstall printer drivers.
Unplug printer USB. Go to control panel>>Installed printers and delete existing printer installation. Reinstall printer driver software using printer CD.
I don't understand why my approach worked, but it did. Having tried all of the reasonable and obvious things, I downloaded an update of the Canon toolbox, which has to do with scanner operations rather than printing. Still, once I did this, I was able to use the MF4100 laser printer with my new computer.
If is problem when printing, reinstall drivers.
Also replace toner.
Check settings under driver-RAM Disc ON,ammount of RAM DISC must be same as amount of ram disc which is under settings in copier control panel.Ram Disc must be on.
