My 360 an ps3 will not get 1080p. I have a 62' Toshiba Dlp. i bought it and the retailer said tht it was 1080p. Since i bought it from one of the largest electronic retailers I would easily assume that my 360 and ps3 are broken... right? wrong? i don't believe that my tv is capiable of 1080p. Can anyone help me?

Your tv, 32LA30Q Television can only support up to 1080i, not 1080p, that is why you cant run it at 1080p, as the hdmi inpute only allow, 1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i signals.

HOW DO YOU HOOK AN XBOX 360 TO Emerson EWF2004 20

This TV has composite and S-video inputs (limiting you to SD outputs from the XBOX). Since the XBOX 360 only has an HDMI output, you will need the XBOX to composite AV cable. (There is also an XBOX to S-video cable.) This adapter is sold separately from the XBOX. Buy.com has the composite video cable for $8 plus shipping here: http://www.buy.com/pr/product.aspx?sku=222079854&sellerid=18395415 . It will be more expensive at any retail electronics store.

The manual for the Emerson EWF2004 is available from Funai, which built the TV for the Emerson line, http://www.funai-corp.com/support/manuals.aspx . The direct link to the manual is http://www.funai-corp.com/6pdf/om/EWF2004.pdf . Note: you need the original remote or a universal remote that has a Source or Input button (with the correct code) to change inputs. There is no Input button on the TV.

I hope this helps.

I just bought a Samsung 40" LCD 1080p 120Hz HDTV. I don't know too much about HDTV's, but I'm having really bad problems getting my Xbox 360 to look even remotely good on the tv. I have it set up through...

1. Check what resolution your xbox is sending to your tv. It should be set to 720p 1080i or 1080p in the video setting on the xbox
2. Make sure you are not also connecting to xbox with the composite video cable(yellow, red ,white). Should just be the hdmi running to the tv

I hv an old style xbox 360 n i bought a vga hd cable.is it automatic 1080p

It depends on your monitor or tv's native resolution,
if your tv/ monitor is 1080p then you should be able to get 1080p in the xbox settings from the dashboard.
Also, any xbox 360 should display 1080p.
Hope it helped.

X-Box Controller lag on new T.V.

This may be because of HDMI, but I have seen this happen on other TVs that use coax cables. It may be your controller is getting old. If you can afford it, try replacing the controller or get the HDMI connector for the xbox 360.

No sound with HDMI cable and Xbox 360

FROM THE TOSHIBA MENU, (FIRST MAKE SURE YOU ARE SET TO
THE HDMI PORT THAT THE XBOX IS PLUGGED INTO) THEN SELECT
HDMI SETTINGS, UNPLUG HDMI CABLE FROM THE TOSHIBA TV (LCD
FLAT, MINE IS A 42") WAIT FOR THE SETTINGS TO HIGHLIGHT OR NOT
BE GRAYED OUT, THEN TURN OFF THE THREE SETTINGS, FOR COLOR
AND LIP-SYNC., SCROLL DOWN AND PRESS THE RESET BUTTON,
WAIT FOR MESSAGE TO APPEAR. TURN OFF THE TV AND PLUG IN THE XBOX.
TURN EVERY THING BACK ON. SEE IF IT WORKS.
NOT ALL CABLES ARE THE SAME AND NOT ALL TVS ARE THE SAME.
READ THE TV OWNERS MANUAL CAREFULLY, (RTFM), I FOUND A NOTE ABOUT
THESE SETTING ON THE SPECIFICATIONS PAGE.
