Wont turn on

I've had about 4 shavers now that stop working after about 4 months of service. I originally had a braun then bought 2 norelco's then back to another braun which just quit on me this morning.
The blue light comes on when the start switch in pressed but nothing happens. I tried plugging it in directly and using it, but nothing. If I put it in the cleaner, it goes through it's clean cycle and runs with no problem.
I'm sick and tried of these shavers craping out on me. Any help would be appreciated.

All of a sudden then next day my braun 8995 won't turn on. The blue light comes on when charging but the LED display is not working either??? What happened?
