I am having a problem with the hotsync. It worked the last time I tried it in July. Now I get an error message saying that it cannot establish the connection to my desktop. I have Windows 2000, there is no icon on the lower right of my computer.
Help--I am not very computer literate. thanks, Musicbox

I have not changed anything that I know of. I looked in control panel and saw a lot of HotFix programs that I could not remove --something related to window--I removed them, finally, but still no go. What do I clean the connectors with? ( I wiped them with a cloth--use any solvent?--Thanks, musicbox

I have had a C3 since 1999 and I have alwasy been able to hotsync as computers then had serial ports. I've now got a new computer that doesn't have serial port. So I bought a USB-serial connector. However, the computer doesn't have COM1, COM2, COM3 , COM 4 available, but has higher numbers like COM7. Is there any software fix to allow one to select COM7 in the hotsync setup? Regards, Norbert
