JVC TH-A10 System

JVC TH-A10 Won't TUrn on...

posted by sliggles on Aug 25, 2007

I had this system for almost 10 years now and I've been very pleased with it's quality and stability. I just moved into a new house and hooked it up. Everything was perfect until I was playing with the light switch. I forgot that it connected to the power outlet of the living room so that if you turn off the lights the power outlet goes out as well. For this light switch there's a sliding switch wher you you can dim the lights or make it brighter. As I was trying to dim the lights, everything, Tv included, shut off. I made the lights bright again and only the TV turned on. My JVC system was dead. Haven't been able to turn it on for a day. What kind of problem is this and how should i fix it?
I have the same problem.

Unplug the JVC and the subwoofer from that outlet. Then, plug them back to a different outlet (where power is constant and not interupted by any switch.) Hope this helps
