Laptop can not get in to the network after it crashed

    What did you do to the laptop after it crashed? Did you reload windows and all the correct drivers for it? Did someone just fix it? Is it a regular wired network or wireless? I need more information from you

Make sure you have installed the right network card driver

configure TCP/IP correctly ,, can be dynamic or static depending on your routers config.

test tcp/ip by going to the command prompt and typing ping 127.0.0.1

Since ur Computer has Crashed the Settings for Wireless N/w might have been Deleted

All u have to do is to Once again Scan for Wireless on ur Laptop
Connect to ur Wireless N/w with ur Wireless Password
And U will be online Wireless
If u are Not aware of Wireless INFO, Check Settings on Router from ur MAIN Computer

First make sure that all of your updates are current, then reboot. If this does not fix the problems then go into your device manager and uninstall your dvd/cd player and your network adapters, then reboot, This will force your system to reload the drivers for the dvd/cd player and your network adapters.

if i was you i would load up a version of win xp on another hard drive inserted into your laptop, load the drivers for the laptop including wi fi drivers then see if ok. if not you can be sure its a faulty wi fi card in your laptop,you need to disable internal wi fi card remove,replace it.but first try borrow a pcmcia wi fi card just to check if everythings ok
