I can not uninstall F-Secure

You need to uninstall and the reinstall the software. DO NOT EVER POST YOUR SOFTWARE KEY'S AS NOW SOMEONE CAN HIJACK YOUR SOFTWARE. As soon as you uninstall the software, reinstall the software and enter the reg key. The rest is done through your internet connection to the F-Secure Registration Server.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the product Before reinstalling F-Secure Internet Security, you must first uninstall the product. To uninstall the latest version of F-Secure Internet Security, do the following:

1. Write down the subscription key of your product:
   1. Open F-Secure Internet Security.
   2. Click Settings > Other settings > Subscription .
   3. Write down the subscription key that is displayed on the screen.
2. Uninstall the product:
   1. Do one of the following:
      • In Windows XP, click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Change/Remove .
      • In Windows Vista, click Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a program > Uninstall/Change .
      • In Windows 7, click Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall/Change .
   2. Restart your computer.
3. Once your computer has restarted:
   1. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup . The Select Drive box is displayed.
   2. Select the desired drive (C:) and click OK . The Disk cleanup for (C:) box is displayed.
   3. Select the Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files check boxes and click OK . This will clear all unwanted files.

To reinstall the product, do one of the following:

• If you have the installation CD, reinstall the product from the CD.
• Download and reinstall the product as follows:
  1. Download the product from F-Secure website .
  2. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation.
  3. During the installation, enter your subscription key when asked.

Note: You can reinstall your F-Secure product by using the existing subscription key. Make sure that you are connected to the Internet before you enter the subscription key. You do not need to register again after reinstalling your F-Secure product.

now avg 9 has now new network secure utils, so you need to reinstall and take some special attention on network config.

try to completely UNINSTALL your adobe reader program. Then reinstall it. If the problem persists, uninstall the program again (Adobe reader) and delete the Adobe Reader folder in your Program Files folder. Then reinstall.

If you are using windows o/s then go to control panel>uninstall or remove programs, then look for avg and click uninstall.Easy as that.Make sure you remove anything that says avg..

Disable your internet connection, or unplug the ethernet cable
Uninstall McAfee
Install Avast
Hook your internet back up
Use your reg key and update Avast.

You just don't want an unsecured computer with an active internet connection even during the short period of time between uninstalling the old one and installing the new one

--- please first of all arrange system setup disk for WinXp
--- Start Windows in safe mode, if yu can, uninstall all undesirable programs, antiviruses, TSRs
--- Restart System
if problem is not solved, please repair windows, by setup & upgrade from the XP installation disk.

Spyware Doctor, Panda are good antiviruses, please update them on internet after first instalation

if you don't wont a anti virus please uninstall the anti virus program.

But i recommend if you using the internet or other kind of removable drivers like ( Pens) you have to use a anti virus program to protect from the so many viruses

If you have an anti virus program in your computer, scan the drive for viruses or potentially unwanted programs. Try IE after the scan.

2 anti-virus software can not co-exist on a computer system ; therefore you did the correct thing by uninstalling the old anti-virus first . However , there are lots of anti-viruses which do not get deleted (uninstalled) by going to Start > control panel > Add/Remove program. These anti-virus have to be removed by special "uninstallers" . I do not know which Anti-virus you have on your system , therefore I will provide you with the link of most common anti-virus uninstallers :

once the antivirus is removed through the uninstaller , then try installaing the new anti-virus which was giving you "files corrupt" message ... it will then work fine.
