Question about Canon EOS-AE-1 35mm SLR Camera
I just picked up an AE-1 and EVERYTHING works well...except....the shutter only fires at 60 no matter what the dial is set at. 1000? 60. B? 60. Heeeelp!!
Remove transport/winding lever and loosen the retaining ring underneeth. Gently lift shutter speed dial and reseat it. Tighten the retaining ring and reattach winding lever. ( the shutter speed dial is not engaging the mechanism inside the camera and you need to establish proper connection ).
