Remove&replace gas tank on a homelite 2600 pressure washer mod# ut80522

problem appears to be blockage in the main jet or low fuel flow to the carby
clean out the main jet and bowl ( could be water or dirt in the main jet)
check the fuel flow through the tap as they can corrode inside and block the flow or the filter in the tap inside the tank could be blocked

Remove the 3 or so screws that secure the pull rope housing to the top of the motor. Flip it upside down and it should be pretty obvious as to how to remove the spine loaded piece that the rope goes on. Thread the new rope thru the housing and wind it up on the spindle. Make sure before you put it on that the rope pulls out and retracts like it should.

I use the SAE30 Non-detergent Mineral Pump oil as it is formulated for the high pressure pump.

I found a small long spring disconnected from my throttle which made the engine run rough It is easy to reconnect and makes a big difference in engine performance. also, if there is a very dirty air filter-oil/dirt it will not start-replace filter.

Rebuild pump after first trying to adjust pressure.

Empty the gas tank and fill with fresh gas as it sounds like you may have gotten some water in the tank.

i wanted now use only gas or gas whit oil

A couple of things....

Clean the air filter and make sure it is dry.

Check for any springs that have come off of the linkage.

With compressed air, blow out the carburetor.

Clean and clear out the fuel tube from the tank to the carb housing.

Be sure you have proper oil level.

Out of what you have said...it is something in the carburetor....probably needs a flushing with air.

Remove and clean the carburator. Sound line a stuck needle on the float.
