How do i get aquantum ml 29032 scale manager manual?

A Scale Manager kit comprises of the following:
  • One computerised electronic water descaler
  • One 12 volt power supply, cable length 1.8m - 6?
Optional when ordering, 5m - 16½' power supply extension lead
  • Antenna cable with red plug
  • Antenna cable with black plug
  • Five plastic cable ties (1 spare)
  • One attachable black antenna plug
  • One attachable red antenna plug
Please Note: Ensure antennae cables do not come into contact with each other
  • The gap between the coils must be in excess of 60mm - 2½" no upper limit
  • Coils require a minimum of 50mm - 2? each side of uninterrupted straight pipe
  • Direction of coils is essential - see over
  • Ideally a 125mm + (5?+) straight run of pipe is required for each antenna coil
  • Direction of Water Flow is immaterial
  • Connect red plugs to red sockets and black to black
  • Scale Manager is effective on all pipes (copper, plastic, lead, steel etc)
  • Performance is not impaired if the pipe is painted
  • The Control Unit can be fitted at any angle or plane
  • A 13-amp socket is required for the power supply
The ideal location to install Scale Manager is near the entry point of the rising main, before any junctions. The antennae coils operate independently and can be positioned on separate pipes should you not have an uninterrupted pipe run of 250mm - 10?. Should the inlet pipe T off within 125mm - 10? of the stopcock, position the coils as fig 1 overleaf. If the inlet pipe available is over 125mm - 5? but under 250mm - 10? position as fig 2 overleaf.
The antennae coils require a minimum gap between them of 50mm - 2?. It is also necessary that the coils are at least 40mm -1½" from elbows and junctions.

I just moved my Acer 19" monitor and everything went off. I checked all the connections but it is not turning on. any suggestions?

Check the VGA lead, it is possible that when moving the monitor, you damaged one of the pins that connects in the socket on the monitor, remove the lead and also inspect the socket if there is a broken pin inside it remove this and try a new vga lead.

If no pins are broken and / or the power is not even reaching the monitor, check the kettle lead, look for signs of damage to the rubber / plastic plug and the socket on the monitor (assume this one is fed directly from the mains?), If you have been unfortunate enough to have damaged one of the pins that is in the socket you will need a TV repairman to fix this.

Check also the condition of the lead itself, for breaks and whether the fuse in the plug has blown.

After that, your problem will need to be looked at by a qualified TV repairman, as the fault must lie on the board itself

I have 2 Epson V500 Scanners, 1 of them I just have on standby. The one I use daily does not turn on. I tried using the cables of the standby unit already. I checked the fuses on the plugs of both...

  1. Check that the power socket switch is on Make sure your scanner's power cord is securely connected to the scanner and a working electrical outlet.
  2. If your scanner is supplied with a power adapter, make sure your scanner's AC adapter is securely connected to the scanner and a working electrical outlet.
  3. Make sure that the power outlet works. (If necessary, test it by plugging in another electrical device and turning it on.)
  4. Check that the power switch is on at the mains socket. If this is on, carefully check the power cable to ensure it is not damaged and remove then reseat it before attempting to turn the scanner on again. If your scanner has a power button, make sure that the button is depressed so it is turned on. Also, make sure that your outlet works and is not controlled by a wall switch or timer.
  5. Power off the scanner at the mains socket. Unplug the power cable from the socket, then remove and reseat the power cable from the scanner's power cable port. Plug the scanner back in at the mains and ensure the socket is switched on.
  6. If your scanner has a power button, does the power button depress when pressed? Press down firmly on the power button, if it is stiff and does not depress then there may be a problem with the button.

  7. Connect the scanner directly to the mains - not via a surge protector or extension lead. If your unit is connected via a surge protector or a power strip/extension lead, connect the unit directly to the mains socket.
  8. Try another suitable power cable. Check that other electronic devices connected to same power socket have power and try another mains socket and another power cable if necessary. Failing this try another suitable and known-working power cable. Depending on your scanner, a standard "kettle lead" or "figure of eight" power cable is used. If there is power to the scanner (indicated by an illuminated Start light), when a different power cable is used, then the fault is with the original power cable.

If the unit does not power on after following the checks above, contact Epson for support. If your scanner uses an AC adapter, then this may need to be replaced. If your scanner is over 12 months old, you can purchase a replacement AC adapter directly from Epson.

I have lost my power cable in moving. Where may I buy one, address, and cost. Thank You. Ed

What type of power cable? What is it for?
If its the PC's power cable (also called a kettle lead) then you can buy these cheaply from discount stores like cash converters.
Otherwise let me know and we (MCSLondon.co.uk) may be able to send you one at cost price.

No sound through speaker or headphone

Firstly are u sure ur plugging the leads into the correct socket, sounds silly, but i've had several people call me out to fix this issue, only to find the leads werent plugged in properly.
Otherwise, ur sound driver needs updating. a quick search of the manufacturers website, usually under support section shuld get things up and running again, any probs email me directly..

Upon booting no beep sound heard and no bios display seen... what's wrong?

Probably have a cable hooked up backwards or wrong ,does the power supply fire up? Check also for chip creep which is microchips working their way out of the sockets especially if you just moved or some vibration event. Hopefully a few of your board componets don't have a loose or cold solder joints. Three main compnets to check power supply, hard drive and video. Sounds like you are having problems in the hard drive area, check settings for master and slave and cable select is right ,let me know how it works out, your missing something silly.

LOST THE CONNECTING WIRED FOR THE LINKSYS WIRELESS ROUTER WERE CAN I GET A NEW ONE

Which lead do you need? a Network cable or the power or the lead to the filter into the phoneline?

Power - Have a look on ebay and see if somebody has a 2nd hand router going for sale, you'll probably find that buying a new router is cheaper than getting hold of a proper power supply from linksys. The other thing you could try is look next to the socket and see if there is a voltage and polarity symbol in which case you could try run it from a universal adapter with the same settings.

Network cables/Filters/Phone Line leads - Try ebay again or somewhere like http://www.cclonline.com/

I have a gateway desktop computer. Recently moved

Before you actually replace the power supply, check some other things first:
1. Wall socket
2. Power strip/surge protector
3. Power cable
4. On the back of the computer, where the power cable plugs into, is the red switch set to 115? It should be 115.
5. Make sure that the power cable is not connected to a regular extension cord. Power cable must plug directly into a surge protector that is not daisy-chained to another power strip, surge protector, or normal (household) extension cord. Surge protector must be directly plugged into wall socket.

If none of the above solve the problem, open up the case and ensure that all power connections are secure. Also check ALL other components' connections. Any loose connections can cause problems for you.

If everything is secure and the problem persists, replace the power supply.

I have a MAG 15'' 468. I cannot find where the power supply hooks to the monitor. Sounds silly, but I cannot find it.

Sometimes, there is a removable panel that covers where both the data-cable and the power-cable attach. Trace the data-cable. Look for small "arrows" that indicate in which direction the panel should be moved, in order to remove it (or maybe it "hinges" open).

I have lost power lead to printer

That printer uses a proprietary power supply and a weird not common connector. Your best bet is to locate a broken printer on EBAY if you cannot get a powersupply directly from HP.
