A E000 means that the fuser unit is not heating up correctly. You will most likey need a new fuser unit. If you unplug the copier and plug it back in and it will not come to "Ready" you need a new fuser. Good Luck

A E000, means that the fuser is not warming up correctly. You can try to unplug the copier and see if it will reset. If it will not reset, you will have to have the fuser unit replaced or the upper fuser heater unit and film. Good Luck

System Error E000

This is usually a fixing heater fault.

The heating element in the fixing assembly (the hot rollers) has probably blown.
It can also be caused by a faulty thermal sensor, or a circuit board, relay or DC Controller.

If you are not competant at repairing copiers, you should have a service technician fix this.

The error cannot be cleared until the cause of the fault has been rectified. This is a safety measure to prevent overheating problem and further damage. The technician must clear the error in 'Service Mode'

My Caonon D761 was showing sytem error E000. I tried unplugging it for a few minutes, a few times, over a number of days, and it still won't reset itself. Can you tell from the error code what the problem...

This code usually means that you have a fault in the heater circuit for the fixing assembly (Heated rollers)
Either the heater element has blown, there is a fault with the Thermister, AC driver, DC power supply, DC Controller or the safety thermal fuse has opened.
The DC controller locks the device for safety reasons, It indicates this error when the temperature sensor detects no change in the temperature of the fixing rollers after 30 - 40 seconds on turning on the heater circuit.

If you are not competant in repairing copiers, you should have a service technician fix this.
