Having scanned a document and then send it email a window tell me that my messenger live email service is either switched off(it is on) or it needs to be reconfigured.How do i make the email compatible?

1)completely remove windows live messenger from your computer. 2)scan your computer with latest Antivirus. 3)Now download latest version of windows live messenger. 4)install it and try to sign in.
Now it's not work than contact to Msn customer support and describe your problem.
its over if it's not work now than you have to create new account on msn.
When you scan a doc to email, it will open either outlook express/Windows live mail or outlook and use that to send your email. If you have not configured either of these programs on your pc then it cannot send anything. the way around this is to scan the docs into your say My Documents/Documents folder and then attach them to your email as attchments.
I would re-download the newest Windows Live Messenger and try again, Microsoft was reporting a bug about this a while back that has been released and is included in the newest verion available at
Hello from Portugal,i used to have the same problem,when i logged to msn no contacts although in hotmail they where all there,so i uninstalled windows live essencials(all programs) then downloaded windows live messenger 2009(again) but this time i only installed the messenger app!problem solved now when i log in all my contacts are there and the messenger works at is full power(lol) hope i helped someone and sorry for my english!
windows live messenger will only install to a os that has sp2 or higher.you need to install/update to service pack 2(sp2).
if you cant find sp2 download I can send it to you in email attachment.you need to install sp2 and restart pc before you can install live messenger.if you want live messenger i have also.if you want email me at [email protected]
