Why is emergency brake light on with continuous "dinging"?

The emergency brake switch is most likely the cause of your problem. It is on the side of the brake pedal. Some you can adjust the position to where it shows the emergency brake pedal is not depressed. Here is an image of the switch..Hope that solves your problem

How do i remove the emergency break cable on the rear caliper of a 2001 jaguar s type?

No, you do not have to remove the emergency break cable unless you are changing the emergency break pads. The caliper acts independent of the emergency break.

Chrysler 300M turn signals and flashers don't work

The Combination Flasher, also refered to as the combo-flasher, is mounted to the in-line bracket which is located to the right of the Junction Block. The Junction Block (JB) is located in the left endcap of the instrument panel. REMOVAL Open hood and disconnect the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post. Remove the left instrument panel silencer. Refer to Body Instrument Panel Silencer, REMOVAL. The flasher can be removed by pulling in a rearward direction. INSTALLATION Install the flasher by firmly pushing it into place. Install the left instrument panel silencer. Refer to Instrument Panel Silencer, INSTALLATION. Connect the negative battery cable remote terminal to the remote battery post.

Hi, I have a problem with my parking break I drive a 94 ford mustang and never really use the break. The other day I had to apply the break and from then on the break is stuck engaged and will not release....

YOUR EMERGENCY BREAK CABLES ARE SIEZED IN THE HOUSING. WHEN YOU DONT USE THE BREAK THEY HAVE A TENDENCY TO START RUSTING AND YOU WONT KNOW THIS UNTILL YOU FINNALLY USE THE BREAK AND ALL THE RUST IN THE CABLE BREAKS LOOSE AND JAMBS THE CABLE. THERE IS A CABLE FROM THE REAR DRUMS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE CAR VERY UNLIKLY THIS WILL WORK BUT TRY LUBING THE OUT SIDE OF THE COVERING ON THE CABLE WITH A PENETRATION OIL AND WORK THE BREAK LEVER AND SEE IF THEY BREAK LOOSE

My emergency break light on my ford escort is still on, and I put the emergency break back into its place. What's going on? What should I try?

Are your emergtency brakes still engaged? if so Whats probably happening is the cables are probably rusted or seized, you may be able to temporarily disconnect them at the rear brakes, but should get them repaired immediately. You may be able to maually free the cable with a pair of pliers.try spraying them with penetrating oil, this may help you in freeing up your cable.P.S. If its freezing cold where you are at,and you have not experienced this problem before, the cables may have gotten some moisture in them and have frozen. If this is the case, a couple of hours in a heated garage may do the trick. Also check the e-brake on, sensor switch which sholud be attached to, or under the e-brake handle, its not uncommon for something to gum up or jamb the switch in the on position.

I have jensen vm9412 that has a broke cable

Hello smcdon,

I'd go directly to Jensen. If the cable was defective when you purchased it, it should be replaced under warranty.

Here's the link to Jensen's web site.

Hope this helps.

Screen is frozen on my jensen vm9412 help plzzz

No idea, try restarting it. Remove the radio fuse in the fuse block, wait five minutes then reinstall. If that don't work remove the negative from the battery, wait five minutes then reattach. This will restart the unit for sure, it will also restart the car's computer just so you're aware. Let me know how it goes.

Ipod 6th Generation won't connect to VM9412

All I can tell through my searching, is that the Jlink only works on gen3-gen5 ipods. I have a gen 6 80gb classic, and while I can hear the audio from the movie playing, I have no video. Music plays fine.
