Problems communicating through the router. Lots of ICMP type 3 code 4 errors in the log. Accessing a web site will be mostly ok but then a click will cause an infinite "waiting for ..."

Hi there. In response to the last post, I've tried reset and the support page at USR. The firmware upgrade is v1.1 which is already installed in the router. The ICMP 3 code 4 means MTU too large and is probably part of a MTU discovery sequence but something get's lost somewhere. I have links on web pages that I click on that start displaying data but never finish. There are other web sites that get stuck in a logon process. If I switch to a wireless router I also have, everything works correctly. Thanks for trying. Davro.

The USR support page is here:
http://www.usr.com/support/s-main-menu.a...
Use the search engine at the bottom of the page to find your model.
I see a firmware update listed, but I would start with a complete re-set and re-configure. There are just too many variables to give you an exact solution without access to the router.
