Re: No sound

I also had this problem..what you need to do is do a hard reboot on the system. Its simple to do, just follow these simple steps. 1. Remove battery cover and remove battery. 2. Hold in the red power button and insert the battery. (note:do not release power button till the screen flashes a red and blue colour). 3. At this point it will ask you if you want to erase all data...only choose yes if you want to sell the phone, this erases all user input and refreshes the phone to factory condition!!! Press the NO button and this will then reboot the system and correct your problem. 4. Your phone is now ready to use. Thankyou for letting me assist.

Low alarm tone

I think i can help you. The problem I'm having is that the alarm tone is too brief an too low. So brief that it doesn't come close to waking me up. Try this, Have someone send you a ring tone or some thing u want to wake up to. Within the message there is an option that will let u save the sound in your documents or ring tone folder. Try both. An hopefully when you set your alarm tone it will allow you to set the music, sound you just saved. If that doesn't work the HTC website has a trouble shooting section. I think it addresses this problem. Good luck i hope this helps

Nokia e50 wont notify me when i recieve a new text message

Hello there! thanks for using!

Try the following instructions, to personalize your Nokia E50!
Warning: In the offline profile you cannot make or receive any calls, or use other features that require network
coverage. Calls still may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your device. To make calls,
you must first activate the phone function by changing profiles. If the device has been locked, enter the lock code.

Select Menu > Tools > Profiles.
You can adjust and customize the ringing tones, alert tones, and other device tones for different events, environments, or caller
To customize a profile, scroll to the desired profile in the list, and select Options > Personalise.
Define the following settings:
Ringing tone — Select a ringing tone from the list, or select Tone downloads to open a bookmark folder containing a list of
bookmarks for downloading tones using the browser. To listen to the selected tone, select Play. If you have two alternate
phone lines in use, you can specify a ringing tone for each line.
Say caller's name — Activate the text-to-speech ringing tone feature. When someone from your contacts list calls you, the
device sounds a ringing tone that is a combination of the spoken name of the contact and the selected ringing tone.
Ringing type — Select how you want the ringing tone to alert.
Ringing volume — Select the volume level of the ringing tone.
Message alert tone — Select a tone for received text messages.
Or you may still go to this website for more info!

A possible resolution is to update your device to Windows Mobile OS. For some reason, that seemed to work for customers that have experienced the same problem.

No audio from speakers

With other models (I don't know about the 6515) there's a known hardware issue with the switch in the headphone jack sticking, getting bent, or breaking. One discussion at: If the phone ringer is on the same circuit as the rest of audio, then that would not be the explanation. But I can also imagine the ringer being a separate circuit. Good luck.
