Lock light lit means it is CLEANING, Lock light blinking ??? Can you pull the plug for 30 sec? I think it got paused somehow before it finished a cleaning cycle and it thinks its still cleaning and the door is locked.

You could use the oven without the broiler. It is customary that the oven will use the broil element to even out the heat in the oven for better baking but you could use if. it just may not bake evenly. There could be two things that is causing the broil element to stay energized. the control is not shutting down or there is a short to ground in the broil element. Have the broil element tested, it could just need replacing. If it is in the control that is a bigger problem.
Manufacture and model would be nice ohm out the bake element might be open some are in the oven cavity others are hidden below the lower oven plate and have to check from the rear by removing back cover in the bake mode the broil element element cycles on/off thats why you have some heat.
even though the ignitor seems to glow bright orange,it still maybe weak,as in not enough current to open the gas valve,an easy test is to just swap out or interchange the broiler ignitor and bake ignitors and see if this takes care of your issue on the lower bake side as most units use the identical ignitor for each upper and lower manifolds and the gas valve supplies both the bake and broiler manifolds depending on which you choose to use bake or broil
Hello there Please read the entire solution i have provided below ok It won't bake or broilIf
neither the oven nor the broiler heats, but the range burners still
work, the clock may be set for a timed or self-cleaning cycle. Check to
be sure the clock buttons and knobs are set properly. If your clock has a
knob that says "push for man(ual)," push the knob in and try heating
the oven and broiler again. If they still don't work properly, you
probably have a defect in the thermostat, selector switch, or common
wiring. Note...
If the oven doesn't have a separate bake/broil/etc. selector switch,
the problem is often with the thermostat. It's not easy to check the
selector switch or thermostat for proper operation. If you suspect a
problem with either of these, call a qualified appliance repair
technician.
The oven gas valve coil has failed Need to replace. Go to repairclinic.com and put in the model and order the coil for the valve. It controls the gas valve.
Thanks for providing the full model number, which allows us to look up part numbers and see exploded views of your product.
Most likely the bake ignitor is bad (even if it still glows, it may not draw enough amperage to allow the gas safety valve to open). One way you can test this on your model is to swap out the broil ignitor for the bake ignitor, as they are the same part number on your model. (part number WB13T10045) The broiler is normally used much less than the oven, so the part does not fail very often on the broiler. You will have to take the cover off the floor of the oven, then the flame spreader, to reach the burner area. The ignitor is the rectangular part at the back, on the side of the burner. (only two wires to deal with) (By the way, for future reference, your model number ends is SS, as in stainless steel, not a 55)
hi thanks for the question check to see if the broiler igniter is broken that could be the problem do you use the broil more than the bake if you do then change the broil igniter thanks the appliance doc
If neither
the bake nor the broiler heating elements heat, but the range burners
still work, the clock may be set for a timed or self-cleaning cycle.
Check to be sure the clock buttons and knobs are set properly. If your
clock has a knob that says "push for man(ual)", push the knob in and
try the baking and broiling elements again. If it still does not
operate properly, you probably have a defect in the thermostat,
selector switch, or common wiring.
If the oven does not have a
separate bake/broil/etc. selector switch, the problem may be with the
thermostat. But it's not easy to check the selector switch or
thermostat for proper operation. If you suspect a problem in this area,
call a qualified appliance repair technician.
Wouldn't that effect the stove top? That works!
That did not work. As soon as I push the cancel button it turns of the blinking lock light.
