Sure u pressed a wrong button,,,its fn with some f that would make the cursor out of function as not to let any one play with your laptop,,so its easily again press fn with that f which shows a pic of a mouse. its a property in some laptops.

The cursor jumps backward often while I type, and writes behind where I am, lines behind.

You're probably hitting the touchpad with the heel of your hand while typing. Many people do it without realizing it, and the computer is just moving the cursor to where it thinks you're telling it to go. If you're doing lots of typing, you may want to plug in a USB external mouse and turn off the touchpad. This eliminates the cursor jumping, and a regular mouse makes moving around a document and selecting text easier.

I cannot move the arrow

Perhaps your mouse is not plugged in to the computer. If your mouse is a usb mouse it will have an end of it that looks like this:
http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/4/2008/11/usb3.jpg
It probably isn't blue on the inside though. It's probably silver or black
If your mouse is a ps2 mouse then it will look like this:

If the mouse is a ps2 mouse then when you plug it back in you will need to log off and then log back on to your computer for it to work. To log off you can press the windows key that looks like this:
http://daily-grind.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Windows-Key-722215.jpg
and then use the tab button to navigate to the log off button and hit enter. Then hit tab until you can select yes and hit enter.

If it is a usb mouse then you can just plug it back in and it will work.

My mouse is not moving, it is stuck. pls where to i click or touch to make my mouse keep moving again thanks.looking forward to hearing fro u.

It is possible that you accidentally hit the click-lock button, usually located below the little screen where you move the mouse by fingers. Try to hit that area again, and release the mouse cursor to roam the screen again.

Good luck,
-a.

How-to move cursor ?

If there is a black square in the middle below the keybord, that is what is called a glidepoint. You just use your finger to glide the mouse arrow around inside of that box. The bars are for the mouse buttons.
If you are like me, I like to hook up a regular mouse via USB and use the regular mouse instead.

I hope that I have provided the correct information that will assist you in the resolution of this issue. If you have any questions, please post back with a comment to this thread.

Mouse cursor wont move

most laptops have a way to enable/disable the touchpad for those that use an external mouse or do alot of typing and encouter the overactive touchpad.

hold the "FN" key and press the corospinding function "f button" to enable it.

the function key number will be different depending on your laptop and you should also check the laptop base for a button that may be specifically for this purpose.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting!! :)
