Problem for HP DeskJet 3745 Printer
HP Deskjet D 4160 Printer quit working after paper jam.

Had paper jam. Removed from back as directed. Printer no longer prints.Amber arrow flashes nearly all of the time. Occasionally arrow stops flashing and I'm able to print a page. Then it quits again, Any ideas ?

- eselilchoco1 solved my problem. Told me to try pushing the power button for 30 seconds. It worked ! Long live eselilchoco !Mar 28, 2009
- I put a new ink cartridge in and that seemed to be the beginning of my problem. After doing that the amber light wouldn;t stop blinking and the printer wouldn't print. Seems that the message isn't goiung to the printer.Clarification Request

Replace both cartridges, power down and try again. The blinking light stopped and now I'm able to bring. Had gone through powering down four times before doing this.
