i have the same problem but the red light flashes 10 times ?????

  • Anonymous Dec 05, 2007

Problem started with a single light green in the middle of my computer. Tried all sort of switch on and off methods and even reinstalling system . Problem still woun't go away. After three days, the thin green line in the middle expanded into a thick black line about 3-4 inches right in the middle of the TV. Called the help hot line. I was promissed the part needed to solve was not in stock. Promissed to contact me as soon as the part arrives. Up till now no response from them

When the Panasonic TH-50PX60U is turned on, the button beside the power switch flashes 10 times, stops and repeats the flashing. The tv will not actually turn on.

10 times red light blinking shows problem with PA board and/or H board, both boards are available in for $35 and $45
Replace required board to solve this issue.

The 7 blinks indicates that a failure has happened within the Y main and the upper and lower y drive panels. I recommend you taking it in to a Service center for and evaluation.
