ZK010 I boought an Ozeri ultra thin stainless kitchen scale, Model #ZK010 from Amazon on April 13, 2013. On June 10, 2013 the scale malfunctioned. I had the batteries checked and they are positive. What are my next steps to resolve this problem?

It appears to be a built in 'feature'.

I have not yet found a manual for the Ozeri ZK15 food scale online on a site I consider is safe for downloading (meaning: I don't consider the sites I have found safe from malware being downloaded along with a PDF manual.)

Therefore, if you have not already done so, I suggest you contact Customer Support for Ozeri and ask about the availability of a manual for your model of scale.

You need to initialise the weighing process by tapping your foot on to the scale to start it...but wait for it to zero...then step on it.

On the back of the scales under the Ozeri sticker, you will find the battery cover. Remove the cover and replace the two CR2032 batteries (model ZB13).

oUt2 means that it needs to be calibrated. I am not familiar with these scales so no sure if they can be re-calibrated.
