Problem for Motorola RAZR2 v9 Cell Phone

My razr 2 v9 can still make and recieve calls but the screen is black. The screen still lights up there is just no image. The company I am with will not take it back on warranty dur to there being a crack on the protective cover on the outside of the phone. Please help! I dont have money to buy a new phone right now, plus i need all the contacts and everything off of the phone.

- I just started to have the same problem. My phone is only about 18 months old and the screen started to have blacking out rolling across the bottom have of the display. Took it into Verizon and they said that even a software upgrade wouldn't fix it. Luckily I had an old phone that I asked them to reactivate until I could get new phone. I quit using the Razr for fear that screen would go entirely black.- lrtdance
