Car stereo wiring color codes for Proton Satria

Have to replace (Blaupunkt) car stereo in a Proton Satria (2001) with an after-market head unit. Are the wiring colour codes standard or do they vary with make of car? If so, what are the codes for this car?

If your original harness is still hanging out of the dashboard I would just opt for the $15 aftermarket cord. Then it's just pretty much color code wires together

Proton satria valve problem, mechanic said 4 valves need replacing (or at least one) too expensive to replace and cannot get these parts. car is revving on its own when stopped.

Get the car scanned for error codes if it's injection model. If it's carb model, service the carb, set the distributor correctly, and check vacuum pipes for aircond control solenoid valve. It could have been connected in reverse.

I have a proton satria 2007 model with a fully intergarted head u

First off, change the front speakers with a decent pair of aftermarket. Buy a powered subwoofer. One that has the amp built in. Connect it to the rear speakers. Bazooka tubes are great, compact, great bass.Adjust your radio so that the front speakers do not recieve alot of bass, you want it about half way. That way you are using all the power to push high notes, Bass takes a lot of power to push, reducing the volume. Turn the subwoofer to the maximum setting, and then adjust the system to your liking. It will take some time, but it is worth it in the end. Tip: set it while listening to your favorite station. Stations broadcast at different sound levels. Some pump up the bass, some don't.
