Thank you for contacting Kenwood USA Corporation. As an
authorized agent for Kenwood, we are responding to your recent email
inquiry.
Check the cable to see if it says "KENWOOD" on the part where it
splits into three cable lines. Many locations are selling cables that
appear to be the KCA-iP300V, but are not and do not have the Apple
Authorization chip inside of them.
If it does show "KENWOOD," then try reseeting the iPod. This is done
by switching the HOLD on and then off, and then pressing the Menu and
Center buttons together until the Apple Logo appears.
