Not working with Vista

The router is not working with Vista computers. No problem at all with XP. I have tried Microsofts solution adding the registry key DhcpConnDisableBcastFlagToggle in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\{GUID} But this dos not work. The router and the computer is configured to DHCP. When giving the computer an IP and changing the netcard to 10 Mb half duplex it succeded for a period. But next time the computer is turned on I must configurate it again. I would like to use DHCP and 100 Mb full duplex. Any suggestions?

Re: Not working with Vista

There is a list of Vista supported routers here: Your model is not on the list, so I would begin by emailing tech support.:

Hello there, you only need to open a port for utorrent, if you use a Router device for sharing your internet connection to more than 1 computer. If you do indeed own a router then you will need to log-in to it, via your web browser and change the necessary settings to forward the port that utorrent uses, to your local computers address.

Please write again if you need more support.

Hope this helps.

Not able to see HP C6180 on SonicWall TZ 180

Not sure if you've done this already or not, but I would suggest installing the printer manually as a local printer, and create a TCP/IP port that points at the IP of the Printer. Rudimentary way to go, but should help.

Sonicwall Pro 300 DMZ Problem

If you're within a network and try connecting to computers on it with the WAN public IP, it simply won't work - you must use the network IP. On an external Internet connection, it should connect fine to the public IP. If you have access to an external machine (remote desktop), or if you know of an FTP proxy, you can try it that way. I also believe a web based FTP client would act as somewhat of a proxy, you could try that with the public IP and see how you go.
